Walk-In-Interview

Required the following category of faculty for Degree Level Engineering Courses on contract basis for a period not exceeding six months at the first instance. Attend Interview along with original testimonials in the office of the Principal, Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology, (Degree Wing) Sector-26, Chandigarh on 26/08/2008 at 9.30 A.M. for faculty position and on 27/08/2008 at 9.30 A.M. for the post of Lab Assistant-cum-Attendant.

1. Asstistant Professor : 01 post (Civil Engineering), Qualification : First Class Master's Degree in Civil Engineering. (ii) 5 years experience in the teaching/ industry/ research at the appropriate level., Desirable : Ph.D Degree in Civil Engineering/ Technology from a recognized University.
2. Lecturers : 02 posts (Civil Engg.-1, Applied Sc. (chemistry)-1), Qualification : Lecturer (Civil Engg.) - First Class Bachelors Degree in Civil.EngineeringITechnology from a recognized University. , Lecturer (Applied Science-Chemistry) (i) First Class Masters Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University. (ii) Qualified in all India Examination prescribed by the UGC for appointment as Lecturer.
3. Laboratory Assistant-cum-Attendant : 04 posts, Qualification : Diploma of three years duration in CSE/ EECE from a recognized Board or Institution., Desirable: Experience in the relevant trade. OR (i) Matriculation or equivalent examination of a recognized University/ Board or Institution. (ii) I.T.I. certificate in CSE/ EECE from a recognized Board or Institution. (iii) Three years experience in the relevant trade., Desirable: Apprenticeship certificate in the relevant trade.

Age : Not exceeding 45 years, 35 years and 25 years for category of posts at Serial No.1, 2 & 3 respectively as on 01/01/2008. Relaxation will be given to Reserve categories as per Govt. Instructions.

Pay : Fixed and Consolidated @ 22900/-, 15300/- & 6000/- for Category of posts at Serial No.1, 2 & 3 Respectively.
